gEEZER bLUES
I've been down on my hands and knees
Can't remember where I put my keys
I thought I put them right down over
there
On the hutch by that winged back chair
Finally check my pocket, there they
are
Now if someone would only help me find
my car
I settle down for the night
Ten minutes after I turn out the light
I'm woken up by my own snore
Never get a decent night's sleep anymore
Jump out of bed, no time to lose
When nature calls you can't refuse
I got the Geezer Blues
I can't read the paper anymore
Without glasses from the Dollar Store
Never thought I'd be one of those guys
Who looks for books in large print size
Baby boomers have you heard the news
You've already lit that old age fuse
Gonna get those Geezer Blues
