FLAGS AND BORDERS
Moon shining through the trees is
Apt to do just as he pleases
Sun rising everyday
Is not concerned with what we say
To whom it may concern
I know I have a lot to learn
About the way the world goes round
What goes up, what’s going down
I heard the news this morning
Evil came without a warning
Showed his face and had the gall
To push the big guy off the wall
And all the horses and kings’ men
Could not make Humpty whole again
God then relayed all His orders
Time to raise the Flags And
Borders
One step forwards and two steps back
Who can say if we’re on the right track
When children ask about world disorders
We could tell them it comes down to Flags And Borders
