DON'T GIVE UP

I don’t know what we were thinking of

When we decided to have kids

I said I thought it’d be fun to try

Well, it’s been all of that and so much more

Don’t Give Up

Don’t look back

Always assume that you’re on the right track

And maybe you’ve asked for all of this a long time ago

If I had access to a time machine

I’d set the dial back to six fifteen

That’s the time that I got out of bed

If I could do it over I’d sleep ‘til nine instead

Some things in life we learn suddenly

Other lessons are sometimes slow

I’ve tried to follow my dreams in life

Sometimes they go where I’m afraid to go
